There are literally hundreds of restaurants on Maui with just about any cuisine you can imagine. Below are some of our thoughts on dining on Maui, particularly on the West side where our vacation properties are located.
During the busy winter and summer seasons, you may want to consider calling 2-3 weeks ahead to some of the better restaurants for a reservation. For the best luau, Feast at Lele, you MUST book at least 4 weeks ahead to get in.

- The Old Lahaina Luau considered the most authentic
- The Royal Lahaina Luau If you are taking children, Children (6 - 11 years old) $3, Children 5 and under free
SEAFOOD:
- Gerard's in Lahaina (probably the best food on the island)
- Merriman’s at Kapalua
- Mala
- Honu
- Cane and Canoe (Montage Kapalua Bay)
- Pineapple Grill Kapalua
- The Plantation House
- Mama's Fish House (long drive there and back though)
- Hali’imaile General Store
STEAK: Ruth's Chris in Lahaina
SUSHI: Sansei in Kapalua
PIZZA: Lahaina Pizza Company (Front Street)

- Duke’s Beach House Maui @ Honua Kai Resort
- Hula Grill - Ka’anapali (or go for pupus and the sunset and the Hawaiian music)
